We believe in one God the Father Almighty (Ephesians 4:4-6 – Deuteronomy 6:4 – Mark 12:32), the maker of heaven and earth (Gen 1:1), of things visible and invisible (Colossians 1:16). And in one Lord Jesus Christ (1st Corinthians 8:6 – Zechariah 14:9), the Son of God (Matthew 3:16-17 – Luke 1:35), the begotten of God the Father, the only begotten (John 3:16), that is of the essence of the Father (John 10:30 – Hebrews 1:8). God of God (John 1:14 – 1st John 5-7), Light of Light (John 8:12 – 1st John 1:5), true God of true God (John 17:3), begotten and not made (John 3:18), of the very same nature of the Father (John 14:7), by whom all things came into being, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible (Colossians 1:16). Who for us humanity and for our salvation came down from heaven, was incarnate, was made human (Philippians 2:7-8), was born perfectly of the holy virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35). By whom He took body, soul, and mind, and everything that is in man, truly and not in semblance (Hebrews 2:14-18 – Philippians 2:8). He suffered, was crucified, was buried (Luke 23:46 & 53), rose again on the third day (Matthew 28:5-6), ascended into heaven with the same body (Acts 1:9-11), [and] sat at the right hand of the Father (Romans 8:34). He is to come with the same body and with the glory of the Father, to judge the living and the dead (Acts 1:11, 1st Thessalonians 4:16-17 - 2nd Corinthians 5:10 – Revelations 20:11-15); of His kingdom there is no end (Hebrews 1:8).
We believe in the Holy Spirit, in the uncreated and the perfect (1st John 5:7 – 1st Thessalonians 4:8); Who spoke through the law, prophets, and gospels (2nd Peter 1:20-21 – 1st Corinthians 2:12); Who came down upon the Jordon (Matthew 3:13-16), preached through the apostles (Acts 1:8, 2:1-4), and lived in the saints (1st Corinthians 6:19-20).
We believe also in only One, universal, apostolic, and [Holy] church (1st Corinthians 12:12-13 – Colossians 1:18 – Matthew 16:18); in one baptism in repentance, for the remission, and forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 4:5); and in the resurrection of the dead (Colossians 2:12), in the everlasting judgment of souls and bodies (2nd Corinthians 5:10 – Revelations 20:11-15), and the Kingdom of heaven (Matthew 3:2 - Luke 17:21), and in the everlasting life (Daniel 12:2 – John 3:36, 5:24, 6:47).
